Is There No Place Safe From Twitter?

I’m not allowed to Twitter at work, not that I have a twitter account. I feel like I missed the band wagon on the whole twitter thing anyway. But when you’re at work, you’re at work, doing work like things.

The company doesn’t pay you to Twitter, that is unless you’re in the media, then it’s encourage, because that’s how big time celebrities interact with listeners, and viewers, and get their opinion. This saves them the time of actually going out there and meeting their fans now a days.

Ontario Liberal MP Michelle Simson, apologized to Tory MP Dean Del Mastro for tweeting that he should ‘grow up (not out)’

Check out the story in the Globe and Mail by Jane Taber.

Why would our elected officials think it’s alright to Twitter during Parliamentary committees?

And it takes New Democrat Charlie Angus to point the ridiculousness of the whole things has to make you stop and wonder if maybe we haven’t all travelled to a bizzaro dimension.

What we should do is bring back fist fighting on ‘the hill’, that would be a for sure hit on Youtube!

The Kenny Show for Sunday Nov 15th

Kenny’s broken toe,
An outstanding song by Brentalfloss, Check out his work here
The new Coach Kelly Video game; Call of Kelly: Modern Media Warfare.

Then Marty Gold, of The Great Canadian Talk Show called in, to talk about everything and nothing.. we did hit on
The Kerry Brown tribute show, On7, Winnipeg Sun, and lack of competition in the mainstream media news outlets in Winnipeg, and Gordon Sinclair Jr. Mr. ‘know it all’ article about the bombers. The article is a little hard to find on the Winnipeg Free Press site, so here is a link.

This Weeks Cougar Watch focused Demi Moore

During the Sonic Broom update Jon (the teams lead) was awarded this weeks Most Valuable Sonic Broom.

Jess Chapmen, The Future American came on down to, not only talk about what’s going on with our brethren to the south, but also to insult my comedic delivery.

Finally some sense to this H1N1 pandemic.

There are no excuses as to why I have posted for awhile, but I’m sorry.

Sharon Kirkey of the Canwest News Service has an kick ass article where she talked to Chief Public Health Officer, Dr David Butler-Jones.

Story Here

Dr Butler-Jones says that H1N1 is no more deadly the seasonal flu. Something we at The Kenny Show have been saying since the first cases of ‘Swine Flu’ started popping up in Mexico.

If H1N1 was deadly, we people dying for unknown reason at first, and I would hope that the government of Manitoba would be wise enough to have vaccine clinics open 24/7.

THE Kenny Show goes LIVE this Sunday September 13th

---
The FM dial on Sundays from 12:00PM to 2:00PM just got a whole lot more interesting
---

September 9th, 2009 Winnipeg, MB - The Kenny Show with Danny (aka the Big D) is moving to Sundays, this September 13th. This move will allow The Kenny Show to be LIVE from 12:00PM to 2:00PM on 92.9 KICK FM.

For the first time ever listeners will be able to phone the 92.9 KICK FM studios at (204) 780-5425 and interact with Kenny and Danny on the air. Tell us what you think of the latest Cougar Watch, or if you disagree with The Super Diva Bomber Report. Let them know what you think right away, instead of firing off brooding emails later.

Other upgrades, like having more than one microphone, and a more than one clean chair might entice others to drop by the studio.

About The Kenny Show:
The Kenny Show is hosted by Ken Atamanchuk, and co-hosted by Dan Pochert.
Ken Atamanchuk is a growing and talented Radio Host, who has learned all of his skills from working on The Great Canadian Talk Show hosted by Marty Gold.
Dan came on The Kenny Show early this year as guest, and countered Ken so well that he became a permanent fixture on the show.

The Kenny Show is broadcasted out of Winnipeg on 92.9 Kick FM, a Community and Training radio station at Red River College Princes Street Campus.

The Kenny Show uses honest opinions, pre-produced bits, and life experiences from the hosts and guests to satirically entertain and inform its listeners about the ‘why’ behind the news headlines.

Kim was able to join me and Danny (Ohh, Sorry, Big D). Among other things, we got Kim to some listener email.

Note to Jessica, Danny will not be able to do anything with you, please stop emailing and phoning during the show.

The SuperDiva Bomber report had a special guest analyst, Russ.

And Cher was the focus of the Cougar Watch.

Aussie Shock Jocks

When I listen to the radio, and I hear a bit that I don’t get, or just sounds bad, I always try to find out why.

What was the point of that bit? What where they trying to poke fun at? Was it a misunderstanding, or was the bit just stupid.

Well slot this under the real stupid, no thought process at all was given to this bit, I would say it looks like a grab for rating.

On some Aussie radio show there was a 14 year old hooked up to a lie detector, and her Mom asked her questions about her sexually history, and this is were we find out she was raped.

Check out the BBC story here.

Here’s my take on it…
